Well it’s pretty safe to say I’ll probably never be doing anything as awesome as this…but maybe I can just date THIS guy :D

So this is the letter I got back from Morningstar Farms about the discontinued Veggie Dogs:

“I am happy to hear how much you enjoyed the Morningstar Farms® America’s Original Veggie Dogs. This was a staple in my household so I can understand your disappointment.

Our veggie dogs have been out of stock for several months due to supplier issues. Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure an appropriate facility to manufacture them. It is always difficult for us to make the decision to discontinue a product, as we know it is always someone’s favorite. At this time, there are no plans to reintroduce these items.

We know that it will be hard to find a replacement, but we are always developing new products. We appreciate your interest and loyalty to our brands and trust that we will continue to meet your needs for many years to come.

I find these very intriguing…

Seahorses are one of the coolest creatures in the world! It’s hard to believe they really exist…they’re like fairies!

Baby octopus, awww. I FINALLY got to see one in Costa Rica last summer…and I got to touch it, yay!

The Sloth! My favorite animal of all time! Talk about a fascinating creature…I want one.

Jellyfish are so beautiful…but don’t touch! And DON’T catch them with minnow nets and stack them on stairs, you will regret it ;) This is a Blue Button we saw in Port Aransas, and its about the size of my toe. They were all over the beach. They look like tassels!

And finally, the most intriguing creature of them all…the Phalange!

The Water Walking Ball!  This is awesome…a giant human hamster ball!  Not sure its worth $499 but I would love to give this baby a test drive.  I wonder if they make small ones, say for a 13 lb dog…

So it is official: Morningstar Farms Veggie Dogs have been discontinued.  I died a little inside when I found this out.  This is what they had to say on their website: “We are sorry to tell you that our Morningstar Farms® Veggie Dog products - Morningstar Farms® America’s Original Veggie Dogs, Morningstar Farms® Corn Dogs, Morningstar Farms® Mini Corn Dogs, and Morningstar Farms® Corn Dogs, made with Natural Ingredients have been discontinued. It is always difficult for us to make the decision to discontinue a product, as we know it is always someone’s favorite. At this time, there are no plans to reintroduce these items.”

That’s Bull****!  So I wrote them a letter this afternoon :D  You will be missed veggie dogs…

Is it weird that the only meat I really miss is hot dogs?

I <3 street art!  Banksy is one of my favorite artists…I would love to go to Europe and see some of his work in person.  I highly recommend checking out his book.  In fact, you should buy it and put it on your coffee table…it’s that kind of book :)

AND I just found out there is an awesome graffiti art documentary by him that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month called ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop.’  Apparently two guys tried to make a documentary about Banksy (his actual identity has always been a secret), but he ended up turning the camera around on them.  It shows a lot of famous graffiti and street artists at work, so it should be a pretty amazing film.  I hope I can find it somewhere.
